Authenticity Safeguards

Google's AI spam policies penalize low-quality, AI-generated content. Marketing OS has built-in safeguards to keep your content original and valuable.

FeatureWhat It Does
Authenticity CheckEvery /draft output includes verification that content has original insights, not just rephrased competitor content
Citation Verification/geo-check now shows whether AI chatbots (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) cite your content
Source Credibility TiersTier 1 (studies, official docs), Tier 2 (industry experts), Tier 3 (general sources) — prioritize high-trust citations

Why this matters:

  • Google's March 2024 update targets "scaled content abuse" (mass AI-generated articles)
  • Content without original value gets deindexed
  • AI chatbots increasingly cite only high-authority sources
  • Your content needs to ADD something, not just repackage existing info

The Authenticity Check verifies:

  • Original insights or data points
  • Unique angles not found in top 10 results
  • Proper source attribution
  • Real expertise signals (case studies, first-hand experience)

FAQ

Q: Do I need the paid integrations?

No. Marketing OS works with free tools. Paid integrations add precision but aren't required.

Q: Can this replace a marketing hire?

For early-stage startups, yes. Marketing OS handles execution — SEO, content, cold email, social. You provide strategy and approval.

Q: My domain is new. Will SEO work?

New domains face a Google Sandbox (3-9 months). Marketing OS has Foundation commands (/warmup seo, /warmup email) specifically for this.

Q: What if I don't have product-market fit?

Marketing OS can help get first users (pre-PMF mode). But if users sign up and immediately leave, that's a PMF problem — use PMF OS first.
